The NCHC's AI supercomputer, built by ASUS, will feature NVIDIA HGX H200 systems with over 1,700 GPUs, two NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 rack-scale systems and an NVIDIA HGX B300 system built on the next-generation NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra platform — interconnected by NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand networking. This powerful system is expected to go live later this year.
NCHC's collaboration with NVIDIA and other partners will enable researchers to work together under the National Quantum Team, exploring quantum solutions for applications ranging from machine learning to chemistry. The center has already started using NVIDIA CUDA-Q to explore quantum solutions for these applications, demonstrating its commitment to advancing accelerated quantum supercomputing.
