  • In a groundbreaking keynote address at GTC Paris, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang revealed the company's ambitious plans to drive Europe's AI boom. The speech, which was attended by an audience of industry leaders and innovators, showcased NVIDIA's latest innovations and partnerships, highlighting the company's commitment to helping European countries build both AI infrastructure and AI factories.

At the heart of this transformation are systems like GB200 NVL72, "one giant GPU" and NVIDIA's most powerful AI platform yet. These machines were designed to be thinking machines, with capabilities that include reasoning, planning, and self-talk. According to Huang, these systems will form the backbone of Europe's new intelligence infrastructure, which will enable countries to build both AI infrastructure and AI factories.

GB200 NVL72 is just one example of NVIDIA's latest hardware offerings, which range from tiny NVIDIA DGX Spark to rack-mounted RTX PRO Servers. The company is also working to help countries use these technologies to build digital twins based on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform with companies across the continent.

To further this work, NVIDIA announced the launch of the world's first industrial AI cloud, to be built in Germany. This cloud will enable manufacturers to simulate, automate, and optimize at scale, revolutionizing industries such as manufacturing and transportation.

The next wave of AI has begun, according to Huang, with exponential growth driven by a surge in inference workloads. To meet this demand, NVIDIA emphasized the need for a new kind of computer: "We need a special computer designed for thinking, designed for reasoning." This new computer is Blackwell, which is being used to power AI factories that will generate tokens, the raw material of modern intelligence.

Huang also announced that CUDA-Q, a platform for hybrid quantum-AI research and acceleration, is now available on NVIDIA Grace Blackwell systems. The company is partnering with supercomputing centers and quantum hardware builders to advance hybrid quantum-AI research and accelerate quantum error correction.

Furthermore, NVIDIA introduced a suite of agentic AI blueprints, including an Agentic AI Safety blueprint for enterprises and governments. These blueprints will help create safe, high-performing AI agents that can be deployed across the continent.

In addition, the company is partnering with European governments, telcos, and cloud providers to deploy NVIDIA technologies across the region. NVIDIA is also expanding its network of technology centers across Europe, including new hubs in Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the U.K., to accelerate skills development and quantum growth.

The keynote address concluded on a bold vision: a future powered by sovereign infrastructure, agentic AI, robotics — and exponential inference — all built in partnership with Europe. With its latest innovations and partnerships, NVIDIA is poised to play a leading role in shaping the continent's AI boom.
